The Caulfield Racecourse Reserve Trust is currently working to prepare a Land Management Plan (LMP) that will guide the next ten years of activity on the reserve and ensure a place for everyone, where it’s use can be maximised for the community’s needs.

The project is now in Phase Two, which will undertake analysis and engagement to understand the existing site conditions and site context, as well as identify the key issues, ideas and opportunities for the reserve.

Stakeholder and community input is vital to the future of the reserve, and at our recent Community Issues and Opportunities Workshop, we heard from more than 80 members about their views and ideas for the future of the reserve.

Next steps

Your feedback and ideas will help inform our Issues and Opportunities Paper, which will be released for public consultation in late November.

The paper will provide a summary of the key ideas, issues and opportunities for the reserve, including how the land can be maximised for the community’s needs and use. It will inform the development of the Land Management Plan.
