Are there any works planned for the Neerim Road site (“Neerim Community Hub” on the LMP)? If so, how will you ensure protection of the 60+ mature and mostly native trees on the Neerim Road stables site? Several of these trees are on the Glen Eira Significant Tree Register; FIVE are unique Coastal Manna Gums which are the last of their species in Glen Eira.

The Trust will be developing a Cultural Heritage Management Plan (CHMP) in response to the Reserve’s recent listing on the Victorian Heritage Register. The CHMP will detail how existing vegetation on the Reserve should be managed and protected. The Neerim Stables have been leased in the short term to the Level Crossing Removal Project and there are no works planned for the site at this stage.
